Support Create Wisconsin on Giving Tuesday!

  • Create Wisconsin 451 North Few Street Madison, WI, 53703 United States (map)

Giving Tuesday - Tuesday, November 29 - is a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Join in the movement to celebrate the causes, communities, and missions that make the world a better place.

In the 21st century, creativity is essential to economic vitality, transformative education, vibrant communities, and quality of life for all. Your support powers Create Wisconsin as we turn this idea into action by bringing people together, growing partnerships and collaborations, and promoting public-private investment in Wisconsin’s creative economy, workforce, and communities.

As we head into what promises to be a very impactful 2023, please support Create Wisconsin on Giving Tuesday or anytime. Our advocacy, service and development weaves together the arts, community and economy for a vibrant, equitable, post-pandemic world. You can make your donation here.

Here’s how your support is put to work at Create Wisconsin:

- Engaging in public policy and advocacy as Wisconsin's voice for the creative industries and creative opportunities

- Promoting the arts, culture and creativity as civic resources for the state and all of its communities and as integral to success in a broad range of challenges

- Speaking out for arts and creativity-centered learning and the development of a 21st century, creative workforce

- Conducting and presenting research on the state of the arts, culture and creative industries in Wisconsin and globally to elected and civic leaders

- Offering leadership, organizational and business education, training and technical assistance for people, initiatives, and communities

- Growing strategic alliances, partnerships, and coalitions, to broaden and strengthen Wisconsin's cultural and creative resources

- Building the vitality of communities statewide, through advocacy, service and development

Fostering inclusivity, equity, access to and participation in arts and culture

- Advancing engagement in the arts and creative opportunities for everyone, everywhere in Wisconsin.

- Building a new Regional Leaders Network for creative development from the ground up, in communities of all sizes, to be launched in the new year.

Create Wisconsin has already received encouraging support for this development work, including a Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation Capacity Building Grant and a generous grant from the Ruth Foundation for the Arts. That funding, matched by supporters like you, will help us grow this important work.

We’ve changed our name, but we’re not changing – in fact, we’re growing – the leadership, advocacy, and service we’ve always been known for as the only independent statewide organization growing Wisconsin creatively.

Your investment powers Create Wisconsin as we bring people together through equitable creative experiences, activate collaborative partnerships, and promote public-private investment to strengthen Wisconsin’s creative economy, workforce, and civic infrastructure. Thanks for your creativity, energy, and resilience, and for your support.

Sincerely,

Mal Montoya, Board President

Anne Katz, Executive Director

PS - your year-end donation helps us ensure a thriving creative environment, infrastructure, and opportunities statewide. Many thanks, again.
