Wisconsin Creativity Summit

Mark your calendars for the first annual Wisconsin Creativity Summit. More info and registration at www.dpi.wi.gov/fine-arts/2023-wisconsin-creativity-summit

This online event will inspire educators, administrators, policy makers, business leaders, and community members to consider the role of creativity in our schools. Dr. Peter Gamwell, author of "The Wonder Wall" and close friend of Sir Ken Robinson, will start the event off with a chat about creativity and the urgent need for us to cultivate it in our children. The event will also include time for discussion and dialogue by participants in breakout rooms. Information will be gathered from the participants regarding the status of creativity in our schools, goals, barrier, and next steps. This information will then be used in Strategic Planning work at DPI and other educational and civic partners.
