Creative Conversation:  effective advocacy for these “interesting” times

  • Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center 29270 County Highway G Ashland, WI, 54806 United States (map)

True, effective advocacy is a daily activity, and Wisconsin has a great case to make about the critical importance of investment in the creative sector as we craft a vibrant, equitable, post-pandemic world. And now is the time to make that case, with the state budget season and an important election upon us.

Join Anne Katz, Director of Create Wisconsin, the state's community cultural development organization, at the Northern Great Lakes Visitors Center in Ashland for a "creative conversation" about advocacy and action for the state budget process (click here for Create Wisconsin’s 2025 Legislative Agenda), investment in Wisconsin’s creative economy, Create Wisconsin Day (Tuesday, March 25), and Create Wisconsin Month (April), and, the importance of being involved in civic issues from the ground up.

Coffee and treats will be served!

It would be helpful to you to RSVP at info@createwisconsin.org so we know how many people to expect, but you can also just show up that day! Contact Create Wisconsin with questions, comments, ideas, and anything else you want to discuss.
